This is work from long ago, when I was young. I stayed at a large estate up in the mission district of Santa Barbara. My host had one of the old dining rooms cleared for me to use as a studio – the light was excellent. He said earlier, it had been used to house ocelots. On the grounds (that went for acres) he had two beautiful temples one was dedicated to a male diety and the other a female with a large egg on the altar and beautiful stuffed birds hanging from wires in the dome.
Some more pics I found, another painting I did at the estate, me working in one of the gardens, outside my studio, and a corner in one of the temples.
